Regardless of whether your skin is dry, oily, normal or a combination of both, the right facial oil can do wonders for your skin. These stunning formulas can hero all sorts of essential, natural oils, with some of the most common ingredients including Rosehip Oil, Jojoba Oil and Argan Oils.

Dry skin is nourished, replenished, and hydrated by conditioning blends of avocado and argan oils. Normal skin is restored and maintained by vitamin E and oil-soluble vitamin C. Oily and acne-prone skin is balanced and healed with rosehip, grapeseed, and sea buckthorn extracts. If you once believed facial oils were only suitable for dry skin types, think again.

The health of your skin depends on the balance of your natural, protective oils. Even the driest of complexions still features an oil-based coating, however, it is insufficient and the skin desires more. Normal skin produces and retains just the right amount of sebum, maintaining optimum health. Whereas oily skin produces too much oil, which can result in breakouts and clogged pores. Choosing the right facial oil for your skin type is dependent on finding the right blend of ingredients to address your skin type and skin concerns.

Can oily skin use Facial Oils?

The short answer is yes. Oily skin types can definitely benefit from facial oils, you just need to make sure its the right one! It is imperative that the oil isn't too rich for your skin, you want to try and choose a lightweight facial oil so it absorbs into your skin, as opposed to sitting on the surface. Ensure you only use your facial oil once a day, if that, you could even use it 2 - 3 times a week. Your skin produces less sebum at night, so its best to use your facial oil before you go to sleep. If you apply your facial oil on the days that you exfoliate, your skin will absorb it better, so give that a try!

Great alternative to DE's Marula Oil

I have normal/dry skin but I hate the feel of heavy oils on my skin.
The Ordinary's Marula Oil is absorbed very quickly by the skin and I can feel its hydrating properties almost immediately.
I have tried a very expensive alternative of 100% Marula Oil and whilst it was ever so slightly lighter, at a 500% cost difference - The Ordinary's Marula Oil is just as effective and way easier on the wallet.
Highly recommended.

Good product for the price

Overall this product is satisfactory, I did notice a slight difference in my skin when I apply this at night but its nothing dramatic, I used it every night for about a week. Overall its a decent product for the price but don't expect anything amazing from this product, well this was the case for me at least.
