I love this moisturiser, occasionally I switch it up but I always end up re-purchasing this product. I love the way it makes my skin look and feel. It's not super greasy and absorbs really quickly. They did change the formula a couple of years ago (didn't notice the change per say, I only know as I couldn't get my hands on it for a few months) and during the change the name went from Dry Skin to Ultra Dry. It still feels like it's just for dry skin, I sometimes do get super ultra dry skin and wish they had another moisturiser for us girls who get really flaky throughout the winter!
After months of searching and wasting money, I finally found this moisturiser which doesn't leave me with reactions such as runny nose and watery eyes. For some reason, all other products (including other self-proclaimed natural/organic brands) trigger these reactions. This Edible Beauty Lotion didn't. So it's somewhat of a godsend for me, as I must use a moisturiser in my regimen and this is the only thing out of dozens and dozens of other brands that my skin can tolerate. So why not 5, or even 4 stars? It's awful if you have oily skin, and horrific if you're in a warm climate. I wish there was a more clarifying option for oily skin. But I don't have much hope - when I reached out to Edible Beauty to ask about this, apparently they are content with this lotion as it is and there is nothing else in the pipeline that is suited to oily skin. It also smells like soapy-lemon. A slight hint of vanilla, but primarily soapy-lemon.
